CAREER PROFILE:

A committed professional with over ten years of experience who possess adequate skills in
research, Project Planning, report writing, training, strategy formulation, Education and
community development. Over time, I have acquired excellent skills and knowledge in
popular accounting software like Excel, SPSS,Kobo Collect, Financle and Census.
My passion is to continuously challenge myself to effectively deliver Quality services that
will enhance the organization’s purpose and objectives thus bringing value addition to the
organization that has retained my services.

Responsibilities:
 Designing and generating distributor, wholesaler and supermarket credit application forms.
 Developing Credit Contracts for Distributors, wholesalers and supermarkets.
 Analysing the Financial Stability and creditworthiness of potential debtors and ensuring that they
comply with the company requirements.
 Capturing financial data into customised Accounting Software and generating Finance
Management Reports
 Preparation and Submission of statutory returns (PAYE, NHIF,NSSF, VAT)
 Preparing monthly bank and cash reconciliations.
 Processing payrolls and managing company employees.

Responsibilities:
 Evaluation of loan applications and documentation by confirming credit worthiness.
 Carrying out business visits to ascertain the viability of the business before advancing loans.
 Presentation of completed application to the credit committee to obtain an approval or decline
from Branch Credit Committee.
 Develop loan proposals for the loan applications that require Head Office approvals.
 Conduct post disbursement visits and determine if the client used the funds as planned.
 Keep proper records of all loans by proper filing and accurate capturing of data.
 Contacting clients who have fallen behind on their instalments and remind them to pay -early
collection process.
 Liaising with Debt Recovery Unit to recover loans that have been classified.
 Training micro clients on Finance record keeping and budgeting in the business.
 Evaluating businesses to ascertain the impact of the loans that were advanced.
 Undertaking compliance checks at the branch to ensure lending regulations are adhered to.
 Filing client files in a systematic manner to ease retrieval.

Achievements:

 Successfully increased the loan book assigned to me from Ksh. 20M to 120M in two years.
 Successfully managed to increase the number of clients from 130 to 320 clients.
 Managed to undertake thorough loan application vetting that eliminated default rate.
 Together with the Debt Recovery Unit, we increased collection of the non-performing loans
(NPAs) from 7M to 2M and drastically reduced portfolio at risk (PAR) from 7% to 1.2%.
 Implemented trainings on budgeting, financial record keeping and internal control systems that
enabled businesses to access more funds.
 Organised businesses to attend trade fairs and exhibitions.
