Imagine hot summer, the coast of the Salish Sea between Canada and the United

States.
Waves ashore ... what is it? Oh God - yes this is a human foot in a sneaker!

I'm afraid to imagine the shock experienced by the unfortunate vacationers who
stumbled upon this terrible find.
And that's not all: since 2007, a total of 16 limbs shod in sneakers have been
thrown onto the seashore.
Coincidence? I don't think so. The police also doubt: "Finding a severed leg on the
beach is a one in a million chance.
But to find 16 pieces already, are you serious?" Said one of the policemen.

The identities of the owners of some limbs were established - but not all.
As the checks showed, some of them could have committed suicide.
Others died "for natural reasons". One of the forensic scientists suggested
that all the dead were dropped from bridges, and the current brought their remains
to this coast.
There is another version: supposedly the feet belong to people who died as a result
of the 2004 tsunami.
In favour of her is the fact that all shoes were produced just no later than in
2004.
And the map of the currents quite admits that the remains could be nailed to this
very shore.
However, the investigation does not yet have an official version.
