Class, I want you to group
yourselves into 4 groups. All you
have to do is to arrange the
jumbled pictures inside this
envelope. Afterwards, choose a
representative to say something
about the picture. (Students will answer)

WEATHER PATTERNS IN THE


PHILIPPINES

AMIHAN (Northeast Monsoon)

-it is characterized by moderate temperature ,


little or no rainfall, and a prevailing winds
from the east .

HABAGAT (Southwest Monsoon)

hot and humid weather, frequent heavy
rainfall, and prevailing wind from the west.

2. Application

Since, you already know the weather


patterns in the Philippines. Let us
play Paint me a Picture. I will divide
the class into 3 groups. I am going to
give a phrase or statement then you
are going to portray it just like a
statue. I will give you 10 seconds to
prepare and after 10 seconds you
have to freeze like a statue.

3. Evaluation
Directions: Give atleast 5 activities that you did during Dry and Wet Seasons.

4. Assignment
Research about the Climate Types in the Philippines.
