3. General Description
A: CAUTION
1. AIRBAG SYSTEM
CAUTION:
• Do not use the electrical test equipment on the airbag system wiring harnesses and connector cir-
cuits.
• Be careful not to damage the airbag system wiring harness.
B: INSPECTION
Before performing the diagnosis, check the following items which may cause problems relating the wiper or
light.
1) Check the battery. <Ref. to SC(H4DO)-60, INSPECTION, Battery.> <Ref. to SC(H6DO)-53, INSPEC-
TION, Battery.>
2) Check the fuse condition.
3) Check the connecting condition of harness and harness connector.

2) On «System Selection Menu» display, select «Combination Meter».
3) On «Combination Meter» display, select «Unit customizing».
4) ON «Unit customizing» display, select an item to be customized.
NOTE:
• For details concerning the work procedure, refer to the “PC application help for Subaru Select Monitor”.
• If not equipped (depending on destination area or vehicle equipment condition), some items are not dis-
played.
