Good evening ladies and gentlemen, friends and loved ones, welcome to Rona and Roel’s Wedding Reception. We
are Ian and Yan - we have been asked by our lovely bride, the former Miss Lucas, now Mrs Rona Mary Gianchand &
her husband Roel, to be your hosts tonight.

The couple together with their parents would like to extend their thanks for your presence at this memorable
occasion. It is indeed a pleasure to have all of you tonight!

Dinner will commence very soon. While waiting for our newlyweds, you may:

 Pick a prop and strike a pose at the photowall located at ___________________. OR

 Sign the couple’s guestbook located at _______________________. OR

 Sit back, relax and enjoy the delicious appetizer prepared for all of you.

Good evening once again, we ask that everyone make their way to their seats and make your selves comfortable as
we now begin our celebration with a wedding prayer.

Lord, behold our family here assembled.

We thank you for this place in which we dwell,
for the love that unites us,
for the peace accorded us this day,
for the hope with which we expect the morrow,
for the health, the work, the food,
and the bright skies that make our lives delightful;
for our friends in all parts of the earth. Amen.

Thank you Ladies and Gentlemen. First off, we would like to introduce family and friends who played significant parts
in this afternoon's wedding rites.

Next up, let us put our hands together for the father and mother of the bride. Mr. Rodolfo & Mrs. Edna Lucas.

And now, here comes the mother of the groom. Please welcome Rosa Gianchand.

Up next is the Maid of Honor, Cristina Lucas. Tin is our bride’s younger sister. She is very artsy and very sociable. If
you guys need any event styling or any help in preparing for social gatherings, you can perhaps call on Tin. Let’s
hear it for Tin.

Now we come to our Best Men. Ladies and Gentlemen, we have two hunky lads here – brothers of the bride and
groom. The one on the left is ______________, ___________ brother of the ______ and the one on the right is
____________, __________ brother of the _____. The Best Men aren’t just there to pass the ring to the groom.
They are there to be more pogi than the groom. Just kidding. They are there to be the confidantes of Roel. Another
warm round of applause for Kuya Mike and Cris.

Now we come to the Secondary Sponsors also the Bridesmaids and Groomsmen.

Our first pair is Mr. Joshua Andrew Camaya and Ms. Salvienia Anna Cecilio. They lit up the path for our newlyweds.
These two are also real-life sweethearts having met while working with our lovely bride. We sure hope you both get
the garter and the bouquet later. Thank you Josh and Anna.

Next up is the pair that clothed our couple as one, Mr. Anfherny Josh Gianchand and Ms. Andrea Nicole Quibal.
These two are the eldest among our groom’s pamangkins. Both are still single but not ready to mingle as per their
loving parents. Let’s hear it for Anjo and Ken!

Last but not the least is the pair that bound our newlyweds together, Mr. Alexander Manongsong and Ms. Angielyn
Casin. Both were also co-workers of our bride but unlike Josh and Anna, they are not sweethearts. Alex just wishes
they are. Who knows, Alex might get lucky tonight. Let’s hear it for Alex and Angie!

Now, let’s move on to the little ones. Our Ring Bearer is Master Shooter Irvine Kirk Quibal. Our Coin Bearer is Mr.
Pogi Rainier Emmanuel Gianchand. And our Bible Bearer is Master Lance Gabriel Gianchand. All of them are
nephews of our groom.

They are joined by our pretty little flowergirls. Little Miss Jillian Rein Montecalvo, our groom’s cute niece and of
course, Little Miss Sapphire Gianchand, the one and only beautiful daughter of our bride and groom. Let’s give them
a warm round of applause!

And now the big moment, Ladies and Gentleman, let us all welcome our bride and groom Rona and Roel! (Play
LOVE – Michael Buble) Rona and Roel has been a couple for a decade already. They first tied the knot in a civil
wedding ceremony in 2012 and now they have finally sought God’s blessing by having their church wedding earlier
this afternoon. Congratulations Rona and Roel!

6:30pm Dance with the Parents/First Dance/Prosperity Dance

Everyone, we now come to dancing. May we ask Roel to invite his mother and Rona to invite her father for the
Dance with the Parents. (Play Feels Like Home)

Thank you Mommy Rosa and Daddy Rodolfo. You may now take your seats as we give the floor to Roel and Rona
for their First Dance. This is the moment when the groom and bride begin a dance that will last for the rest of their
lives. Put your hands together for Rona and Roel as they begin their first dance as husband and wife. (Play Falling in

Thank you newlyweds but you may not yet take your seats. We still have the Prosperity Dance which is a Filipino
wedding tradition that gives our guests the opportunity to offer their wishes and contribute to starting off the
newlyweds in their future together. It is symbolic to bestow bounty to come into the lives of the newlywed couple. To
who wish to dance with the bride or groom, you are welcome to use the pins placed on the center of your tables. A

7:00pm DINNER/BLESSING OF THE FOOD Ian and Yan

Thank you very much to the parents of our bride and groom as well as to our newlyweds. Truly you have filled the
night with so much romance.

That’s right, but we wouldn’t live with romance alone. We invite everyone to please rise for the blessing of the food.
(Recite the Prayer Before Meals).

For an orderly dinner, our buffet tables are located __________________________________________. As your
table numbers are called please come up to the stage for a picture with our newlyweds then after which you may
have your sumptuous dinner graciously prepared for us by Rona and Roel and of course, Hashtag City.

As we enjoy our food, we will be serenaded by one of our groom’s darling nieces, who is also a rising star, Ms. Isha
Kim Quibal. (Kim Sings)

Thank you Isha. That was a wonderful song and you have a very powerful voice. You sure have a lot of star
potential.

We have another performer in the house in the person of our Best Man Cris Lucas. He will render us with an original
composition so let’s all welcome Cris! (Crisron Sings)

Thank you Cris for that heartfelt song number. I can see that most of us are through with dinner already so we will
now proceed with the reception ceremonies.

8:00pm RECEPTION CEREMONIES Ian and Yan

May we request our couple to proceed to the cake table for the cake cutting and wine toast ceremonies.

The cake, which has been a part of wedding celebrations since the Roman times, is a symbol of good luck and
fertility. The sharing of this food symbolizes the couple's willingness to fulfill each other's needs, creating a bond so
simple and yet so strong...As they cut and have a slice- we look forward to a little Roel or little Rona to play with their
eldest Safie by next year… (Play Sugar You; Couple eats cake)

Now may we call on one of the Best Men, Michael Gianchand, to say a few words for the newlyweds. As you all
know, it is customary for the best man to reveal rare insights primarily about the groom, to share with us, the inklings
and foibles that make our beloved groom Roel, the man he is. In other words, an exposè! Ladies and Gentlemen, the
best man!

Thank you Michael. And now it’s time for us to play a game. This game is called ‘He Said, She Said.’ We will be
asking our couple some questions and they would have to write their answers on the board that we will also provide
them. Let’s see how in sync are couple is.

8:40pm GARTER GAME Ian and Yan

Ok let’s continue the fun, because it’s time for the garter game. Now while the groom retrieves the garter from our
bride, may we call on the players for this game. Our newlyweds have pre-identified the bachelors who they wish to
participate in our garter game and these are:

We have the garter. Get ready gentlemen because our game requires some serious flexing. The game is LIMBO
ROCK! The last man standing wins the game. May we ask for our props please. Thank you. (Play Sexy Back; Game
proceeds, last man standing wins the garter.)

Congratulations to our winner __________________! Now, let’s see who will be your partner. It’s time for the
Bouquet Toss Game. We will forego the traditional bouquet throw instead we will play a very simple and easy game.
Again, our newlyweds have pre-identified the bachelorettes who they wish to participate in our bouquet toss game

Now, may we ask for our prop please. Thank you. So you see, the mechanics of this game is the person with the

good time. The night is still young. We still have music and each other’s company to enjoy! Congratulations once
