Specific Learning Competencies: At the end of the lesson, the learners will be able to:
a. Identify the basic terms in sexuality;
b. Discuss sexuality as an important component of one`s personally; and
c. Explain the dimensions of human sexuality.

II. MOTIVATION ( 15 Minutes)
Activity 1: Video Viewing The teacher will present a video about Gender and Human Sexuality
and lets the students answer the follow up questions afterwards.
Follow up questions:
 Why study human sexuality?
 How should one look at human sexuality?
 How is sexuality?

III. DELIVERY/INSTRUCTION (60 minutes)


Activity 2: Reporting
The class will be divided into 5 groups and each group will have a group
discussion and report about the topic that they have chosen. Students will have a group discussion and report their output in the
Factors Affecting Attitudes and Practices on Sexuality class.

IV. PRACTICE (60 minutes)
Activity 3: 1, 2, 3 Action!
Students are given 15 minutes practice and 10-minute presentation.
With the same group on activity 2, students will present a 10 minute role play
showing the topic that they have reported in activity 2.

V. ENRICHMENT ( 30 minutes)
Activity 4: Think-Pair-Share
The group will answer the following questions:
 How have your values, beliefs, attitudes and behavior on sexuality been
influenced?
 How societal factors affect one1s ability to communicate with people
about sexuality?

VI. EVALUATION (20 minutes)


Direction: Write LOVE if the answer is TRUE and RAINBOW if the
answer is FALSE.
LOVE 1. Biological dimension of humans sexuality involves the
physical appearance.
LOVE 2. Body Image is a major psychological factor that affects one1s
sexual wellness.
RAINBOW 3. Psychological dimensions is the sum of the cultural and social
influences that affect thoughts and actions.
RAINBOW 4. Peers play a vital role in helping parents influence their
adolescents` understanding about sexuality.
LOVE 5. The family environment is the normal and usual place for
forming children and young people to consolidate and exercise
the virtues of charity, fortitude, and chastity.
LOVE 6. Exposure to media messages is a part of today`s life and the
youth can be guided to direct their energies to what is worth
paying attention to.
LOVE 7. Peers and Friends should help develop attitudes and practices
too.
LOVE 8. Sexual Health is about having a positive and respectful
approach to sexuality and sexual relationship.
RAINBOW 9. To respect a person`s sexual right is not a manifestation of
respect for human rights.
LOVE 10. Parents have the moral duty to make their children know
about the mysteries of human life.

VII. ASSIGNMENT (10 minutes)


On a one half sheet of a paper, answer the following questions:
 When is a decision healthy and wise?
 When do you say that one is comfortable with his or her own
sexuality? Support your answer.
