This part of the project aims to talk and record information about your international friend

General description:

Taking into account your international friend’s

information, you will record a 3 minutes video using
LOOM or YOU TUBE (it is optional). You will find
information about him / her on the Internet, and then
you will prepare a visual presentation. At the end, you
will show and record your presentation expressing all
the details searched. It is relevant you appear in the
video, so you need a camera and a microphone.

a. The following characters are taking part of the online

community .Choose one of them from the list you
would like to meet. This character is going to be your
new international friend.
b. After choosing your friend, search on the web, general
information about his/her routines, likes, dislikes, food
and his/her most relevant activities including a country
celebration from he /she is originally. 5

3 Video:
Create a report considering the previous information gathered about your international friend.
Plan how to make a 3 minutes’ video reporting the information. Then, upload the video to be
watched.
Follow the example: (this will be the script of your video)

Hello my name is (your name), and I am going to talk about my international friend (His/her name)
who is from (his/her country). (His/ her favourite artist, music, food) is ….
People in (country) usually eat breakfast at (10:35 a.m.), they have lunch at 4:23 p.m. and they
have dinner at 11:00 o’clock.

 Record your 3 minutes video with the information prepared using Loom. (You can’t read anything)
 Check the video tutorial about how to use Loom https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kP-

 Keep in mind that this is not a reading exercise but a presentation.
 You can practice your presentation as many times as you want before recording the video. It is
advisable to practice in front of a mirror and speak as natural as possible.
 The video clip must last at least 2 minute and maximum 3 minutes.

 Show your face all the time, if not, the video will not be checked.
