Notice Regarding the Specification Changes

The following occurs when the firmware is updated:

●SSL 3.0 is disabled.

NOTE
‐ When using the Web Access Software, the SSL settings of the Web browser are not disabled. Check the SSL settings, as required.

●TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 can be disabled.

TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 can be disabled by setting the lower version limit and upper version limit to [TLS 1.2] in [Specify Allowed Versions].
Perform the following operation.

Press (Settings/Registration) ▶ [Preferences] ▶ [Network] ▶ [TCP/IP Settings] ▶ [SSL Settings] ▶ [Specify Allowed Versions]
▶ select [Maximum Version] and [Minimum Version] ▶ press [OK] ▶ [OK] ▶ restart the machine.

NOTE
‐ You can select [TLS 1.0], [TLS 1.1], or [TLS 1.2].
‐ Immediately after updating the firmware, the upper version limit is set to [TLS 1.2] and the lower version limit is set to [TLS 1.0].

●The RC4 and 3DES settings are disabled.

Perform the following operation to change the type of encryption algorithm used with TLS.

Press (Settings/Registration) ▶ [Preferences] ▶ [Network] ▶ [TCP/IP Settings] ▶ [SSL Settings] ▶ [Algorithm Settings]
▶ select the encryption algorithm ▶ select [On] or [Off ] for [Restrict Use of DSA for Signature Algorithm] ▶ press [OK] ▶ [OK] ▶ restart the machine.

NOTE
‐ You can select [AES-CBC (256bit)], [AES-CBC (128bit)], [AES-GCM (256bit)], [AES-GCM (128bit)], [3DES-CBC], or [RC4] as the algorithm.
‐ If you do not want to use DSA for the signature algorithm, select [On] for [Restrict Use of DSA for Signature Algorithm].
