Answer all

Draw the projections of the following points on a common reference line :

1 (i) A in H.P and 40 mm in front of V.P 1 6
(ii) B in H.P and 40 mm behind V.P
(iii) C is 40 mm below H.P and 30 mm behind V.P
(iv) D is 30 mm below H.P and 40 mm in front of V.P

Point A is 25 mm above H.P and 30 mm in front of V.P and point B is 20 mm

2 below H.P and 35 mm behind V.P. Find the lengths of the elevation and plan of 1 6
the joining points A and B. Also measure its inclination with the x-y line.

A line AB, inclined at 300 to the V.P has its ends 50 mm and 20 mm below H.P.
3 The length of its front view is 65 mm and its VT is 10 mm below the H.P. 1 6
Determine the true length of AB, inclination with H.P and also marks its traces.

mm when it lies on the H.P on one of its triangular faces and the axis parallel to 2 12
