..Comprehensive Training Policy for Technical Teachers" under the initiative

of AICTE towards Govt of India MHRD's 100 - day initiative was released on 11 Sept
in the
2019 by the Hon,ble Minister MHRD for promoting quality of technical education
country.

This brings out character building, important facets of new teaching

methodology and better and innovative means of transferring knowledge from one
to

another as against the existing refresher courses domain specific courses being
imparted. Towards this, eight online courses have been prepared in collaboration with
NITTTRs which have since been included in gazette notification for 7th
pay
commission, as applicable mandatOrily to new inductee teachers and
teachers into service with less than five years of experience:
1. Orientation towards Technical Education & Curriculum Aspects.
2. Professional Ethics & Sustainability.
3. Communication Skills, Modes and Knowledge Dissemination.
4. Instructional Planning and Delivery.
5. Technology Enabled Learning and Life-long Self-learning.
6. Student Assessment and Evaluation.
7. Creative Problem solving, Innovation and Meaningful R&D.
B. Institutional Management & Administrative Procedures.

This initiative which is first of its kind in the world is poised to be a

game changer. A user friendly portal W\ryW.nittt,ac.in enabling fresh inductees and
the teacherr to log in and register was launched on 12 Jan 2020 by Shri Ramesh
pokhriyal 'Nishank' the Hon'ble Minister MHRD in the presence of AICTE officials in a
glittering ceremony held at Graphic Era University in Dehradun. The portal is user
iriendly-and self-explanatory with built in features of compatibility with Swayam
platform.

. Technical Teachers Trainino Policy
It is requested that maximum new inductee teachers and teachers into service
with less than five years of experience be advised to register under this initiative of
AICTE. It is fufther highlighted that registration is' mandatory on
NITTT.AC.IN domain for the purposes of ceftification, which in turn as per
gazette notification for 7th pay commission is applicable for the purposes
of probation / promotion.
Accordingly, all the institutes are requested to fill up the google doc attached.
