Greetings

Republic Act 10742, otherwise known as the “Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015 and its
Implementing Rules and Regulations” provides for the creation of a Youth Development Office
in every province, city and municipality. One of the provision of SK Funds in accordance with
Section 20 (c) of these rules is to give priority to programs, projects and activities that will
promote and ensure the equitable access to quality education, environmental protection,
climate change adaptation, disaster risk reduction and resiliency, youth employment and
livelihood, health, including health services and adolescent sexual and reproductive health,
anti- drug abuse, gender sensitivity, sports development, and capability building which
emphasizes leadership training;

The SK Officials of Barangay Casantaan are humbly asked in your good office for the approval of
Basketball and Volleyball League. We want to encourage the youth/ Katipunan ng Kabataan to
participate and involve their selves on the said program because it will serve as a pathway to
promote sportsmanship in our barangay. Likewise this is also organized to make them
physically and mentally fit.

In this regard, we are hoping for your favorable response and assistance to this tournament.
