Canaan did a wonderful job and formed a great rapport with one of my students that has a very
difficult time of staying focused and on task. Canaan formed a great rapport with this student who
really payed attention to Mr. Gardner and worked one on one with him very well.

concepts to my students. He wanted/wants to be a great teacher to/for the students.

I can not say how well his knowledge was before he began attending my class, but I know by the
end he had a very strong understanding in educating all students including exceptional children.

Mr. Gardner did an outstanding job preparing his lessons and presenting them to the students.
His lessons were well thought out from easier to more difficult tasks, and appropriately chunked
into smaller tasks.

Mr. Gardner was utilized a lot by working one on one with several students who were struggling
with concepts. Mr. Gardner did a great job of closing/narrowing their gap and the students really
enjoyed working with him.

This is a very difficult thing for a Teacher Candidate to accomplish or for a cooperating teacher to
observe in just two lessons to formally be prepared for and delivered by the teacher candidate.
However, Mr. Gardner definitely used critical thinking in his preparation of teaching his lessons to
my students, which was evidenced through the chunking of his lesson plans of all tasks.

very calm and respectful of the students at all times. Wonderful job talking to, working with, and
