Investiture ceremony Anchoring Script

1) Welcome- A very happy morning to one and all present here. I Ms. Simran
Amesur on behalf of the Principal and Vice Principal take the opportunity to
welcome all the distinguished guests on this special occasion of the investiture
ceremony of SNBP international school, Chikhali.

It is rightly said-  “If your actions create a legacy that inspires others to
dream more, learn more, do more and become more, then you are an excellent
leader”

Investiture means a formal investing of a person with authority, power, right, office
and dignity. It’s rightly said that ‘leaders are not born, they are made’. Investiture
ceremony is one of the most important ceremony of the school. A traditional
feature of the school name, eagerly awaited by all the students of the school. Years
after years, it reminds us of the trust and confidence that we repose in our newly
elected cabinet. Taking up of responsibility, they all pledge to dispense their duties
to the best of their abilities and abide by rules and regulations of the school.

“Appreciation is the highest form of prayer, for it acknowledges the presence of

good. Wherever you shine the light of your thankful thoughts.”

2) Lamp lighting- I request Dr. Vrushali Bhosale maam the President of SE

society and chief guest for today’s investiture ceremony to kindly come for the
lamp lighting. I also request Principal maam and Vice Principal maam to escort
President maam.

3) Guest felicitation- I request Principal maam to kindly felicitate our chief guest
Dr. Vrushali Bhosale maam.

4) Election procedure- Before we start with todays program I would like to call
Reshma maam and Uma maam to explain us the election procedure on the basis of
which we have formed our prefectorial board for the academic year 2019-20.

Our school is now ready to welcome the newly elected school council. So let's start
with the investiture ceremony.

5) Our school Head Boy

Stepping forward now is Master - Yash Lakhera the newly elected school head
boy.
Our head girl Miss. Nilambari Chavan is absent today as she is on a pre approved
leave.

I request Dr. Vrushali Bhosale maam to kindly forward and do the badging of the
head boy.
I also request Parents of Yash Lakhera to kindly come ahead for the Tilak
ceremony.

6) Coming up next with full pride is our Vice - Head Boy and Vice - Head girl.

Master - Keshav Sinha - Vice - Head Boy

Miss- Vaishnavi Patil - Vice - Head girl.
I also request Parents of Keshav and Vaishnavi to kindly come ahead for the
Tilak ceremony.

7) Discipline captain

Walking forward proudly are our Discipline captains Master- Sumit Thomas and
Miss- Krishna Kamath to take over the responsibility of maintaining discipline in
the school.

I request Parents of Sumit and Krishna to kindly come forward for the Tilak
ceremony.

8)Sports captain

“I am the master of my fate and the captain of my soul” believing in this thought
now comes our Sports captains Master - Aryan Sawant and Miss- Pranjal
Raskar both the leaders are all set to bring more laurels to the school in the field of
sports.

9)House captains
Leaders translate dreams into reality
Leaders transform vision into action.
with this thinking walking pridely is the House captains of Red house
Master- Sunny Nigam and Miss- Prarthna Upadhyaya.

Parents of Sunny and Prathna are requested to kindly come forward for the
Tilak ceremony.
Blue house
Taking the charge of blue house with confidence is Master Harshul Saxena and
Miss Swathi Kumar as the House captains of Blue house.

Parents of Harshul and Swathi are requested to kindly come forward for the
Tilak ceremony.

Green House

Every house student looks up to their leaders and the leaders of green house are
sure that they won't let the house down.
So, the house captains of green house are Master - Aditya Roy and Miss-
Ishwari Budhawat.

I request Parents of Aditya and Ishwari to kindly come forward for the Tilak
ceremony.

Yellow house

Leaders of yellow house say that we believe to guide, inspire and lead with
positivity and they are Master- Sairaj Patil and Miss Pratibha Singh the house
captain of yellow house.

I request Parents of Sairaj and Pratibha to kindly come forward for the Tilak
ceremony.

10) Prefects
Every moment is a golden one for him who has the vision to recognise it and
so this recognition is understood by our prefects.

Now I would like to call the prefects.

11) Flag handover- School flag

School flag is a pride to every student and for this our newly elected head boy -
Master Yash Lakhera would take the school flag from Ex- head girl- Miss
Pranjal Raskar with a self promise to always hold the pride of the school high.
12) House flags
Contributing to the spirit and belief of the head boy our house captains will also
shoulder their responsibility towards their school houses by taking the house flag.
Master ____________ is ready to give his Red house complete responsibility to the
Red house captains

Master ____________ is handing over the bundle of responsibility to the blue

house captains

Master ____________ believes that the green house captains are the right leaders
to take care of his house and so he is handing over the house flag to the green
house captains.

Master ____________ thinks that trust is the most important thing and so he trusts
the yellow house captains by handing them his house flag.

13) Oath

I request Rohit sit to kindly administer the Oath to the newly elected council
members.

14) School Anthem

I request everyone to stand for the school anthem.

15) Head boy and Vice Head girl speech.

I would like to call the head boy Master Yash Lakhera and Vice head girl Mis
Vaishnavi Patil to share their feelings on being elected as a council members.

16) Principal maam speech

I would now like to invite our worthy principal; Ms. Neena Bhalla ma’am to share
her words of wisdom.

17) Vote of thanks.

I request Vice principal maam to kindly move the vote of thanks.

It was really a wonderful session with you all thanks for assembling here in such a
graceful manner and cooperation for the successful conduction of the Ceremony.

Now I call upon the leaders for taking the oath to perform their duties honestly and responsibly.
