This “peace appeal” emanates from Gaza,

which is stricken with poverty, terror, misery
and death
Gaza’s children live in poverty, terror and
misery
Gaza’s children are victims of a war that kills
mothers, fathers and siblings.
Gaza’s children, mothers, fathers and siblings
hate war, hate the destruction of their homes
and hate death
Gaza’s children, mothers, fathers and siblings
love life
The lives of Gaza’s children, their mothers,
their fathers and their brothers are miserable
War is the cause of their misery
Mothers are miserable and give birth to
miserable children
Children are born in miserable families
War is the cause of poverty and the misery of
the children of Gaza
Gaza’s children, mothers, fathers and siblings
do not want war
Gaza’s children, mothers, fathers and brothers
hate war, death, poverty and misery
Gaza’s children, mothers, fathers and brothers
want peace, love, freedom and joy
Children are born with white and innocent
hearts
But war kills the owners of these white and
innocent hearts
In war, children lose security, lose food, drink
polluted water, and breathe in polluted air
War spoils life
War pollutes air, water, food, hearts and minds
War sows hatred, and the culture of death
The culture of hatred and death permeates the
subconscious mind of children, destroying
their lives
The war maims the image of a beautiful life,
painted by innocence and white hearts
War is evil and demons do

Children in Palestine have been living in terror
for more than seventy years
I was born 75 years ago, in the city of Jaffa, on
the eastern shore of the Mediterranean Sea, my
city was famous for orange, and Jaffa orange
was exported to the European markets, and my
city was described as a mermaid
I grew up in an atmosphere of war between the
Palestinian people and the Jewish immigrants
who settled in Palestine
Children, especially in their early years, need
peace
People, always, need peace
I have lost peace since my birth
When I was born, my first crying mixed with
my mother’s fear and anxiety, and the rest of
my family, of the war
Since I was born in my mother’s womb, I have
instilled fear and anxiety
When I was born, my family lived in the
Manshiyeh neighborhood, which is located on
the northern side of the city of Jaffa, next to
the settlement of Tel Aviv, which the Jewish
immigrants to Palestine had built
In Manshiyya, the voices of war, terror and
death were unbroken
I grew up in the center of the sounds of war,
terror and the threat of death
I was born at the center of the war between the
Palestinian people and the Jewish immigrants
I lived the early years of my childhood in the
center of terror and death
Three years after my birth, my family fled
death, my family immigrated to the Gaza Strip
I am here in Gaza, I am seventy-five years old,
death threatens me, and the anxiety of death
takes away the right to a decent life from the
children of my people, and from all my people
I lost peace from my birth, and I still lose it
All children here are losing peace
All mothers and fathers here are losing peace
All the children here love peace, need peace
and want peace
I have a strong belief in peace
This is my invitation
Here, in Palestine, we are losing peace
Children here, mothers, fathers, brothers and
neighbors, die in war
Children here, mothers, fathers, siblings,
neighbors, want life, do not want to die

All people want life, do not want to die

I believe in life, for that, I believe in peace ..
this is my call
I want you with me
Let us work together for peace
But remember, peace is justice
Without justice, there will be no peace
I invite you to work for justice, for peace
Poverty, misery and death of children are not
fair
Poverty, misery and death of people, not fair
The right to a decent life is justice
Dignity is right for all people
Justice gives us our dignity
I believe in peace, and I believe in justice,
because I believe in life
I call for love, and I believe in love
Love makes peace
I believe in life in the light
In the light, we make peace
I believe in freedom
Freedom makes peace
I believe in joy
We need peace in order to live cheerful
I believe in peace, because I believe that you
are my sister, and that you are my brother, and
that life is my right, as it is for you
I believe that peace will prevail
I deeply believe that children will enjoy peace
I am confident that you and I will work hard
for peace
Long live peace

Glory to humanity
I believe deeply that humanity will win
Peace is the right of all people. This is my
deep belief
I love you all .. Peace for all of you
The madmen make war and death
The wise make peace and life
The path of war, and the way of war is the
road of death
The path of the wise, is the path of justice,
love, freedom, joy, and the glory of humanity
The path of the wise is the way of life
The way of life is the path of peace
I deeply believe that peace will prevail in my
country and throughout the country
For peace to prevail, we must all unite under
the banner of peace

enjoy life, we achieve our dignity
When peace reigns: we will direct our
intelligence, toward what makes us a better,
more beautiful life
When peace prevails: we will have security,
we will achieve prosperity, we will achieve
growth, we will achieve our joy
When peace reigns, we will channel our
energies towards progress in the spheres of
spirit and science
When evil is defeated in us, peace prevails
Defeat the evils of yourselves, love each other:
with love we make our peace
Love enlightens our hearts, enlightens our
minds
Love frees us from the demons of our souls
Love makes us a better and more beautiful
world
Love makes justice, harmony, peace, progress,
growth, prosperity and joy
They loved life
Love is the way of life

From my country, the land of Christ, I invite
you to love, justice, harmony and peace
From my country, the Land of the Prophets, I
invite you to rise and emerge from the
darkness of hearts and minds
Get out of the darkness, go in the light
The loving mind frees us from the darkness of
our hearts, from the darkness of our souls, and
from the darkness of our minds
The loving mind frees us from selfishness,
injustice, oppression, tyranny and enslavement
Make the loving mind a method for you
This is my call, I’m Jessen Mai al-Nurani,

Here in Gaza, there is still an old jade tree, in
which the Virgin Mary, and her son Jesus
Christ, who are runaway, and fearful of death
Children here, mothers and fathers here, afraid
of war and death
