A bad workman always blames his tools.

It means: A person who has done something badly will seek to lay the blame on
their equipment rather than admit their own lack of skill.
e.g.: X: The turkey isn’t cooked well because the oven is not functioning well. Y: Well,
it’s the case of a bad workman blaming his tools.

Necessity is the mother of invention.

It means: A need or problem forces people to come up with innovative
solutions.

volumes. Necessity, after all, is the mother of invention.

Half a loaf is better than none.

It means: Getting less than what one wants is better than not getting anything.
e.g.: I couldn't get a full refund for my ticket, only 25%; but after all "half a loaf is
better than none"

One man’s junk is another man’s treasure.

It means: What may seem to be junk to one person maybe valuable to another.
e.g.: I finally got rid of my 10 year old computer, but I'm sure the buyer will love it, One
man's junk is another man's treasure, after all.

What goes around comes around.

It means: If someone treats other people badly, he or she will eventually be
treated badly by someone else.
e.g.: That woman hurt us so much 10 years ago, and look at her right now, what goes
around comes around, finally.
