English-Ecology Exercise
English-Ecology Exercise
This exercise is meant to improve your linguistic skills and to reinforce some of the concepts
necessary for the course. Remember, if you have doubts, ask. Whether we like it or not, English is
the current language of science…. As at some point of history were French or Greek.
I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU TO TRANSLATE EACH ONE OF THE RECOMMENDED SECTIONS ON YOUR
OWN. IF YOU USE SOMETHING LIKE GOOGLE TRANSLATOR, DO IT WORD BY WORD. That way you
may improve your vocabulary. Also, pay attention to the sentences structure. Given time, you’ll
start to get the feeling about the English grammar. I’ll indicate the particular reference and the
sections you should translate.
