Introductory note

Dear students / Parents / Guardians,

These are a set of activities that you can carry out to continue your
child’s musical progress / appreciation. Each activity is simple and
doesn’t require music expertise. Some of the items we regularly do in
music lessons so children will understand what to do with a bit of
guidance.

We’ll use YouTube links for all video resources, which can be accessed
on all types of devices. There are options in most activities, let the
student choose which to do, or do both. Parents joining in would be
helpful and encouraging for your child to carry out the activity in full.
J. Each activity is 1 or 2 pages.

They cover basic universal music skills that are listed in the music
syllabus: Rhythm, pitch, performance, movement, singing etc.. .

Of course, adapt to your convenience and desire. Hopefully it

provides a bit of help on how you can implement similar material.

Enjoy,

Jonathan Ellul (Music Peripatetic, Teacher).
