The music industry united to honour the outstanding work of legendary artist manager Sarah Stennett at last
week's Music Week Awards, in association with Amazon Music.
A glittering array of the biggest names from across the music biz took over London's Grosvenor House Hotel for an
evening of celebration and recognition of the very best the industry has to offer. And it proved to be a record-
breaking outing for the awards
In the lead up to the event, Music Week received more nominations than ever before, while the packed house
provided the awards with its biggest audience to date.
Hosted by writer, presenter and broadcaster Lauren Laverne, the show delivered a huge number of talking points,
as winners across categories old and new were honoured on the night.
The iconic Strat Award was awarded to First Access Entertainment CEO Stennett, whose company manages a
roster that includes the likes of Zayn, Ellie Goulding and Rita Ora, for her outstanding contribution to the industry.
On hand to present the award was none other than Access Industries founder and Warner Music owner Len
Blavatnik, who declared onstage 'If I were to be reborn as a woman, I would like to be Sarah Stennett."
Stennett then delivered one of the night's many highlights, with an impassioned speech that called upon the
industry's most experienced heads to provide a more nurturing environment for young talent to flourish.
'Let's support the young people we work with, let's allow them to express themselves, let's help guide them through
their mistakes," she said. 'To the young people in this room who feel they can't always express themselves in a
room full of experienced executives or who aren't always heard, to those navigating the unchartered waters of a
rapidly changing industry, I encourage you to be brave, embrace your individuality and in the words of my father,
hang on in there."
Other big winners on the night included Syco Music (Record Company Of The Year), Decca Records (Artist
Marketing Campaign), ADA (Label/Artist Services Company), Glastonbury (Festival Of The Year), BBC Radio
1/1Xtra presenter MistaJam (Radio Show), BBC 6 Music (Radio Station) and Kobalt Music Publishing (Publisher Of
