● Education
ANTAM regularly provides scholarships for tuition fees,
thesis support and supporting fees assistance for selected
students who are pursuing basic, secondary, tertiary education
or doctoral studies.
● Health Sector
In conjunction to ANTAM’s 50th Anniversary celebrations,
social services were held in the form of mass circumcisions of
160 children and cataract surgeries on 45 people is several
operating areas and the Head Office. ANTAM was also present
to assist in the construction of an Posyandu in 4 villages in
Nanggung District, Bogor and in 2 villages in Kota Maba
District, East Halmahera.
● Local Economy
ANTAM conducted business incubator programs in
accordance with the potential of the local community in each
Business Unit/Unit. It is expected that with this program the
community will be able to further grow their businesses
independently. A number of new business incubators
developed in 2018 were closed-house chicken farming in
Pongkor and Etawa breed goat farming in Pomalaa.
● Socio-Cultural
ANTAM supporting the preservation of the Togutil Tribe
cultural customs in Halmahera through a social service for
the construction of 2 houses on stilts, basic food aid,
clothes donation, and nutmeg, coconut and peanut
seedlings distribution to the Togutil indigenous people.
Meanwhile in Tayan, West Kalimantan, the M’Batik
Masterclass program began to foster a love for the art of
batik while creating regional batik pattern.
● Environmental Conservation and Rehabilitation
One of the environmental rehabilitation programs was the
rescue of springs in Cibuluh village, Bogor, which aims to
encourage the acceleration of Cibuluh as a tourism village
that is environmentally friendly and based on local
potential. In the village of Ciguha, Bogor, ANTAM together
with stakeholders initiated to facilitate clean water.
● Strengthening Institutional Capacity
To strengthening institutional capacity, ANTAM made
several program such as partnership program, community
stewardship program, community satisfaction index, and
anti corruption.
RECOMMENDATIONS
● Probably ANTAM should expanding
health sector by building more
“posyandu” in other business unit not
only in Bogor and Halmahera
● Add more Biodiversity Species more
than 19 species types
● Add more Fostered Partners all over
Indonesia
