Alcomer® 80
Solid grade nonionic flocculant

Chemical Nature
Alcomer 80 is a medium molecular weight nonionic polyacrylamide based polymer,
supplied as free flowing granular powder.

Application
Alcomer 80 has been specifically designed to flocculate water based drilling muds or
sludges where such wastes are thickened or dewatered using mechanical equipment
such as centrifuges. Operation over a wide pH range (1 – 11).

Storage & Shelf Life

The shelf life of the product is min. 48 months from date of manufacturing if it is stored
in its sealed original packaging between 5 – 25 °C in a dry place.

It is recommended that stock solutions at 0.25 – 0.5 % are prepared regularly and for
maximum effect such solutions should be used within 5 days. Beyond this point some
loss in efficiency of the product may occur.
