the following DFT related problems.

(a) x1 [n] = δ[n] + δ[n − 2] (suppose N ≥ 3).


(b) x2 [n] = 1 + sin(2πn/N ) + cos(2πn/N ), 0 ≤ n ≤ N − 1.
(c) x3 [n] = µ[n] − µ[n − N ].

7. (15 points) The system L is known to be linear. Shown below are three output signals y1 [n], y2 [n], and y3 [n] in
response to the inputs signals x1 [n], x2 [n], and x3 [n], respectively.

(a) (8 points) Determine whether the system L could be time-invariant. Justify your answer.
(b) (7 points) If the input x[n] to the system L is δ[n], what is the system response y[n]?
