SUBJECT: RESETTING WASTE INK VOLUME COUNTER

SmartBase MPC200 H12-2603 (EUR) H12-2604 (UK) H12-2605 (EGF)

Resetting the Waste Ink Volume Counter

1) Enter SERVICE MODE.

2) Select TEST MODE.

3) Select [8] PRINTER TEST in TEST MODE.

4) Select 3. [EEPROM CLEAR].

5) Select 0. [INK COUNT].

6) Press the [Set] key.

Resetting the waste ink volume counter is complete.

Leaving the Service Mode

7) Press the [Stop/Reset] key (returning to the state of 3)), and then press the [ON/OFF] key.

Note: Be sure to perform above operations only when the waste ink absorbers are replaced.
If you perform the operations without replacing the waste ink absorbers, the waste ink volume counter
may not be able to detect the volume correctly. And the volume of ink absorbed may exceed the
allowed limit, and ink may spill from the absorbers.
