 She was raised by a single parent her dad because her mom left
 She’s a daddy’s girl
 She was really excited to graduate from middle school

What is something the presenter did well in their presentation? Please give an example.
Jasmine did a really good job of grabbing our attention. She presented everything in a clear order so we
understood everything and explained how everything made her feel. An example is when she was
talking about her dad went to jail, she told us in detail how that made her feel alone and afraid and she
needed to lean on her brother and friends to get through it. That made me think about my brother and
how he’s always there for me when I need him too.

What is something the presenter could have improved upon in their presentation?

How do you get through not having a mom growing up? Do you feel sad when other people talk about

 She was really close to her Meemaw and was really sad when she died

What is something the presenter did well in their presentation?
She spoke with a LOT of confidence. It was a lot of really sad stuff she talked about but she was strong in
how she said it. She did cry once but it was okay, it didn’t take away from what she was saying. She is a
strong person. Thanks for sharing Jasmine.

Maybe not cry but like I said it didn’t take away from it.

 Her dad had a child with another woman but the woman was mean
to Jasmine!
 Graduation from middle school was a big deal for her and her
family
 She wants to go to the military one day

What is something the presenter did well in their presentation?

She did an AWESOME JOB! I would be so scared to talk about all of
that stuff in front of people because you never know if people will
understand or judge you. But Jasmine did it with so much confidence.
She explained everything perfectly so we could understand exactly how
she was thinking and feeling outside of what she wrote on the
construction paper. She made me really engaged with her story and I
felt like I was there with her.
