1. What is coronaviruses?

Corona viruses is large gruop of viruses afferent types tespiratory and

gastroistetinal corona viruses are family pf viruses that range from the common cold to
MERS corana viruses,,which is middle East Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus and
SARS ,SEvere Acute Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus.COVID-19 is the infectious
disease caused by the most recently discovered coronavirus. This new virus and disease
were unknown before the outbreak began in Wuhan,China,in December 2019.

People can catch CORONA -19 from others who have the virus . the sease can
spread from person to person through small droplets from the nose or mouth which are
spread when a person with COVID-19 coughs or exhales. These droplets land on
objects or surfaces around the person. Other people then catch COVID-19 by touching
these objects or surfaces, then touching their eyes, nose or mouth. People can also catch
COVID-19 if they breathe in droplets from a person with COVID-19 who coughs out or
exhales droplets.this is why it is important to stay more than 1 meter (3 feet) away from
a person who is sick. Corona Viruses are circulating in animals and some of these
corona viruses have the capability of trasmitting betwen animals and humans we call
that a spilover event

2. How can protect myself from CoronaVirus?

You can reduce your chances of being infected or spreading COVID-19 by

taking some simple precautions:

 Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand

rub or wash them with soap and water.
 Maintain at least 1 meter (3 Feet) distance between yourself and anyone
who is coughing or sneezing.why? when someone coughs or sneezes
they spray small liquit droplets from their nose or mouth which may
contain virus. If you are too close, you can breathe in the
droplets, including the COVID-19 virus if the person coughing has the
disease.
 Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth. Why? Hands touch many surfaces
an can pick up viruses. Once contaminated, hands can transfer the virus
to your eyes, nose or mouth. From here, the virus can enter your body
and can make you sick.
 Make sure you, and the people around you, follow good respiratory
hygiene. This means covering your mouth and nose with your bent
elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Then dispose of the used
tissue immediately.
 Stay home if you feel unwell. If you have a fever, cough and difficulty
breathing, seek medical attention and call in advance. Follow the
directions of your local health authority.
 Keep up to date on the latest COVID-19 hotspots. If possible, avoid
traveling to places- especially if you are an older person or have
diabetes, heart or lung disease.

3. Myth-busters

a) Exposing yourself to the sun or to temperatures higher than 25C degrees

DOES NOT prevent the coronavirus disease (COVID-19)
You can catch COVID-19, no matter how sunny or hot the weather is.
Countries with hot weather have reported cases of COVID-19. To protect
yourself, make sure you clean your hands frequently and thoroughly and
avoid touching your eyes,mouth,and nose.
b) You can recover from the coronavirus disease(COVID-19). Catching the
new coronavirus DOES NOT mean you will have it for life.
Most of the people who catch COVID-19 can recover and eliminate the
virus from their bodies. If you catch the disease, make sure you treat your
symptoms. If you have cough, fever, and difficulty breathing, seek medical
care early-but call your health facility by telephone first. Most patients
recover thanks to supportive care.
c) Being able to hold your breath for 10 seconds or more without coughing or
feeling discomfort DOES NOT mean you are free from the coronavirus
disease (COVID-19) OR ANY OTHER LUNG DISEASE.
The most common symptoms of COVID-19 are dry cough, tiredness and
fever. Some people may develop more severe forms of the disease, such as
pneumonia. The best way to COVID-19 disease is with a laboratory test. You
cannot confirm it with this breathing exercise, which can even be dangerous.
d) Drinking alcohol does not protect you against covid-19 and can dangerous.
Frequent or excessive alcohol consumption can increase you risk of health
problems.
e) COVID-19 virus can be transmitted in areas with hot and humid climates
From the evidence so far, the COVID-19 VIRUS CAN BE
TRANSMITTED IN all areas, including areas with hot and humid weather.
Regardless of climate, adopt protective measures if you live in, or travel to an
area reporting COVID-19. The best way to protect yourself against COVID-19
by frequently cleaning your hands. By doing this you eliminate viruses that may
be on your hands and avoid infection that could occur by then touching your
eyes ,mouth, and nose.
f) Cold weather and snow CANNOT kill the new coronavirus
there is no reason to believe that cold weather can kill the new coronavirus or
other diseases. The normal human body temperature remains around 36,5derajat
celcius to 37 derajat celcius, regardless of the external temperature or weather.
The most effective way to protect yourself against the new coronavirus is by
frequently cleaning your hands with alcohol0based hand rub or washing them
with soap and water.
g) Taking a hot bath does not prevent the new coronavirus disease
h) The new coronavirus CANNOT be transmitted through mosquito bites
FACT:
1. The coronavirus is transmitted between people, but is transmitted through
direct contact(through droplets or though coughing and sneezing)
2. Good immune system can prevent us from coronavirus
3. Using good personal protective equipment, the medical team avoids
infection transmission
4. The inoubation perriod is 14 days, so theclinical symptome of the virus may
appear later even though is passes the thermal scanner.
5. The initial symptoms are not specific
6. Patient infected with the coronavirus can recover
7. Coronavirus can be transmitted between humans
8. Coronavirus infaction can affect all ages
9. In the open air, the virus can die with alcohol

4. Travel advice

International travellers: practice usual precautions . While the cause of the pneumonia
seems to be a novel coronavirus, transmission potential and modes of transmission
remain unclear. Therefore, it would be prudent to reduce the general risk of acute
respiratory infections while travelling in or from affected areas (currently Wuhan City)
by:

- Avoiding close contact with people suffering from acute respiratory infections.

- Frequent hand-washing, especially after direct contact with ill people or their
environment.

- Avoiding close contact with live or dead farm or wild animals.

- Travellers with symptoms of acute respiratory infection should practice cough

etiquette (maintain distance, cover coughs and sneezes with disposable tissues or
clothing, and wash hands).
- Should not really cancel their plans but they should take into account the various
restrictions that airlines have put in place when planning for their next trips.

- For a short amount of time the best thing to do in a cabin is to practice proper
hand hygine to wash hands properly with soap and water or to use alcohol-based rub
and to use coughing etiquete and to really keep the distance from people that are
coughing or having symptoms.

- People should be practicing the regular protection measure for a respiratory

infections which means as I said coughing etiquate make sure you snezee and you
cough into your elbow make sure you use a tissue when you use sneeze or cough and
you throw away. This tissue in a bin make sure you keep ypur hands clean and make
sure you that also have prepare your food using regular food hygine a practice.

Health practitioners and public health authorities should provide to travellers

information to reduce the general risk of acute respiratory infections, via travel health
clinics, travel agencies, conveyance operators and at points of entry.

8. COVID-19 and noncommunicable diseases

Corona virus is alarge family of viruses that can cause disease in animals
orhuman. In humans corona causes respiratory infection ranging from the common cold
to more severe illnesses such as the Middle East Respiratory Syndrom ( MERS )and
Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrom ( SARS ). We can protect ourselves and others by
diligently washing hand with sop and water our using alcohol-based, keep a distance 1
meter.

We can help the goverment by staying at home., if it comes out only for very
important interests. Don’t spread the Hoax about the corona virus on our social media.
When leaving the house use make a mask to cover the nose and mouth.Mask can only
be used once, if disposing of a mask be cut first. Don’t wipe your eyes, nose and mouth
with your palms. Wipe your eyes of the nose ands muth by using back of the hands to
avoid the entry of the virus into the respiratory.
