1. I live in a three-bedroom house with my family in the suburbs of La Ceiba Atlántida. I
have to say I love my city and it is at a constant development. The city has some
historic buildings and also modern shopping centers. To be more precise I live in a
colony named after the first day of May, Colonia Primero de Mayo. My colony is like
15-20 minutes from the city’s center next to the Air Force. I like living here because
there aren’t much noises and it isn’t as crowded as the city. Behind the colony you will
find the airport’s landing track. You can go and watch the planes land from up close.
Something else you can find near the colony is the Standard’s Fruit Company
plantations of pineapples. These pineapples are exported to a lot of countries around
the globe. Another beautiful attraction there is, is a beautiful river that is just seconds
from the colony, it is right next to it. What else can I say, I love the place I live in.

2. This is the Swinford Park is located at the Mazapan Zone, near from La Ceiba’s central
park. This is a beautiful garden with some rich history like a train that was used to
transport people and natural resources. It is located between the supermarket Pais
and La Colonia on 7, street 7, La Ceiba. It’s a beautiful and even hidden place in the
city. It is also a nice place to spend some time in family. You would find very nice plants
and also very old trees. Animal sculptures are also part of the place. You have to visit
this park.
