You work as an intern for an NGO that holds talks around Zambia on human rights
issues. Your boss has provided you with the following instructions on your next task:
I need a brief on two news stories from Zambia that highlight the rights found in the
ICESCR. The news stories need to be from between December – February 2020 so that
they are as current as possible. I am going to be using this brief to guide my
presentation at a high school in Lusaka, so I will need a small section introducing the
ICESCR. Use the issues in the news stories to highlight specific rights in the ICESCR. I
will not have time to proof read your work so ensure that the writing is clear and
mistake free. I will need clear and correct citations in case I receive questions on my
sources. Also, as you end the brief please include a small section discussing the
enforceability of these rights in Zambia.
I expect this to be on my desk by the 2nd of March 2020.
Thank you!
