INTRODUCTION
The Malaysian Exporters Association (MEXPA) will be organising the Seminar on A Selection of
Government Financial Assistance Schemes for Malaysian Companies on 6 August 2019 at Hotel Istana
Kuala Lumpur. This Seminar is managed by MEXPA’s training arm, Malaysian Export Academy Sdn.
Bhd.
The Objective of this Seminar is to provide an update on the various financial assistances and other
financial schemes offered or coordinated by the various agencies to Malaysian companies.

from the Malaysian Technology Development Corporation (MTDC)
11.15am: Incentives Provided by NCIA For the Development of the Northern Corridor by a
representative from Northern Corridor Implementation Authority (NCIA)
11.45pm: Funds and Talent Development Funds by a representative from the Human Resources
Development Fund (HRDF)
01.45pm: SME Development Programmes by a representative from the SME Corporation (SME
Corp.)
02.45pm: Tax Incentives for the Development of IRDA by the Ministry of Finance by a
representative from the Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA)
03.15pm: Venture Capital Tax Incentives by a representative from the Security Commissions
Malaysia (SC)
03.45pm: Funds for Materializing your Innovations by a representative from the Malaysia
Venture Capital Management Berhad (MAVCAP)
04.15pm: Incentives, Tenders and Contracts Awarded by a representative from the East Coast
Economic Region Development Council (ECERDC)
05.15pm: Soft loans and Tax Incentives by a representative from the Ministry of Tourism, Arts
and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC)
