NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of the ZIMBABWE KARATE UNION will be held in person:

Date : Saturday 29th of February, 2020

Time : 1000 hrs to apprx 13:00 hrs

Venue : SRC Boardroom

For the following purposes:

1. To call the meeting to order
2. To verify delegates credentials
3. Opening Prayer
4. To declare that the Annual General Meeting has been convened in compliance with the Constitution of ZKU
5. To confirm or amend the agenda
6. To adopt or otherwise deal with Minutes of previous AGM
7. To deal with matters arising from the Minutes
8. To receive, consider, adopt or otherwise deal with the National Executive Report
9. To receive, consider, adopt or otherwise deal with the Treasurers Report which shall have been circulated at
least seven (7) calendar days before the meeting
10. To consider amendments to the constitution of which due notice of fourteen (14) calendar days has been given
before the meeting and in terms of the Constitution.
11. To receive, consider, adopt or otherwise deal with the ZKU’s Strategic Plan for the period 2020 – 2030 which
shall have been circulated at least fourteen (14) days before the meeting
12. Election of New Office Bearers (President, Vice President Full Contact Karate, Vice President WKF Karate)
13. To consider and approve calendar for the ensuing year
14. To consider and approve budgets for the ensuing year
15. To review membership fees, fines and fees schedule for 2020
16. To consider any other business to which due notice has been given in writing
