7. DATA COLLECTION
Once a point has been selected, the different measurements to be carried out appear on the screen. To start the
As soon as this step is completed, it is possible to remove the sensor to set it on the
next point. At the same time OneproD MVP-2Ccomputes all required measurements from
the row vibration signal. It allows operator to optimise data collection time.
The icon shows that the set of measurements is not compatible with Flash mode,
and this mode is then not accessible.
Each measurement of the point is analysed and the time wave acquisition is performed with the highest sampling
frequency and on the longest period. With a 512K samples fast access memory, Flash mode performances are:
• Analysis frequency vs. Measurement:
Maximum analysis Frequency Maximum measurement time
with Flash mode *
40 kHz 5.12 s
20 kHz 10.24 s
10 kHz *** 20.48 s
* Stabilisation time included (2 to 3 s) which leaves for instance 7 s of measurement with a
maximum frequency of 20 kHz.
** Range 10 kHz is not available for overall measurements
• Flash mode is not available for 2 channel measurements
• Flash mode is not available for triaxial measurements
• Flash mode is not available for triggered measurements
• Flash mode is not available for CPB measurements
• Flash mode is not available for Kurtosis measurements
• During post processing spectra are displayed with a logarithmic amplitude
• The set of measurement must use the same sensor.
• With the DAT Option, time wave measurements are limited to 32K samples when using the Flash mode.
• The Defect Factor can be adjusted in the general configuration so as to be measured with a bandwidth of
40 kHz (DEF = Standard) or de 20 kHz (DEF = Flash). The second option allows getting the Defect Factor
in Flash mode.
On “Measurement list” and “Point Measurement” screens, the indicator « a » (located near the battery level
indicator) shows that the sensor power supply is on.
