Patience  is the ability to face difficult circumstances such as

perseverance in the face of delay; tolerance of provocation

without responding in anger; or forbearance when under strain,
especially when faced with longer-term difficulties. Patience is the
level of endurance one can have before negativity. It is also used
to refer to the character trait of being loyal. In my opinion patience
is virtue rather than waste of time. Patience is different from
waiting.

A virtue is a characteristic of a person which supports individual

moral excellence and collective well being. One of the most
important virtues that helps individuals progress and succeed is
patience. This is because patience helps one make good
decisions, prevents one from giving up, and helps develop
empathy and compassion.

First and foremost patience helps us make good decisions. The

reason for this is by being patient you have a clear mind to think
through the possible results of your actions. For example Bill
Gates, the richest man in the world, made the decision to drop
out of college in order to pursue his dreams of creating a software
company. In its early stages he faced much adversity for his
decision but helped him to become one of the wealthiest and
most successful people ever.

Patience gives us the option to cool down and to extend the grace
to ourselves and others in that immediate moment - when we
need it most. To be patient means we don’t react mindlessly to
minor irritations and inconveniences, it gives us the freedom to
respond in a more kind way.

Quite often this virtue is essential in dealing with difficulties and

difficult people. The blessing of patience is the freedom to live at
our own pace and in our own way. With patience we transcend all
the major and minor irritations in our daily lives.

So at last we conclude that :

Time is subjective. Patience makes one to learn acceptance and
overcome the grief. Being patient can have positive results in
ones professional, personal and spiritual life. Patience can be
learnt through religious techniques such as meditation.
