These instructions are intended to be used when overhauling the rotation unit of
the diamond core drill DIAMEC® 262 and 264.
For further information concerning service measures for the drill rig, please contact
your nearest Atlas Copco representative.

GENERAL
As the rotation unit is part of the hydraulic system,
it is particularly important that all components are
kept spotlessly clean to prevent dirt or other
impurities from entering and contaminating the
system.

Always attach plugs to the ends of hoses and


connections immediately after disconnection.

Inspect each component carefully and thoroughly


during reassembly.
Rotation unit
Whenever overhauling, use all the components
included in the overhauling kit.

Replace any parts found worn or damaged, even if


such parts are not included in the kit. WARNING
