Excise Duty ‘The prices are exclusive of excise duty, special excise duty and cess. This will be allowed to you against the Rate Contract as paid by you / Body fabricator to the Excise Authorities against documentary evidence. The current rate of excise duty applicable is indicated in the Annexure “A” attached. 8. Sales tax Sales Tax / VAT as applicable from time to time will be charged extra. Currently sales tax rate / VAT is @ 12.50% 9. Entry Tax & Octroi and other Government levies Payment of Entry Tax or Octroi or any other levies wherever applicable shall be made at actuals by the consignee directly to the concerned authorities if the concessional form issued by the consignee for the same is not accepted by the concerned authority. 10.The consignee should also provide Form 20 in duplicate in advance which is required by RTO authorities at the time of temporary registration. yy11. After expiry of the above period, one upward price revision for the chassis which is priced on NDP basis will be allowed for the remaining period of Rate Contract. All the requests for price vision should be certified by firm’s Internal Auditors as follows: (i) Prices as certified by the Internal Auditor are NDP and no discount whatsoever over and above the NDP has been allowed to the dealer. (ii) Also if any refunds are allowed to the dealer in future, the benefit of the same pattern shall also be available to DGS&D with retrospective effect. 17.Payment Authority a) Dy. Free Service (Only applicable to Non-Defence Indentors) In consideration of the mark up paid by the Purchaser, the purchaser will be entitled to the three free services as per your free service policy ruling on the date for individual models. The supplier will give free service as per schedule indicated in the Owner's Manual. These free services will be provided if such services are claimed within the specified period of supply of vehicle as mentioned in the owner manual. If however, replacement falls outside the warranty terms, the entire cost will be borne by the purchaser involved. Free services exclude any major service that may be necessary in the event of damage etc. 22. Warranty Warranty for the vehicle will be for 12 months from the date of sale of the vehicles irrespective of kilometers run. Other terms and conditions of DGSD Standard Warranty clause will be applicable. 23. You will furnish Quarterly Drawal Report in duplicate against the subject R/C ‘one copy to AM-2 Section and One copy to MIS Cell (AM Dte) for the following quarters ending on (i) 29-02-12, (ji) 31-05-12 (iii) 31-08-12 (iv) 30-11-12 (v) 28- 02-13 and (vi) 31-05-13 In case of confirmation of receipt of Drawal report from the firms is not communicated by DGS&D 30 days of after the expiry of the respective quarters, to the paying authority, the payment shall be withhold by the paying authority. 24, Road Transportation Charges: Vehicles shall be dispatched from your RSO's Sembarambakkam / Bangalore / Faridabad / Indore /Alwar / Kanpur to nearest ALSS / Ashok Leyland Dealers by self driven engine by road. Vehicles shall be delivered to the customer from the. Main Dealer’s showroom located nearest to the consignee’s location. Road transport charges for delivery by road from your RSOs to various main dealer points are fixed at Rs 7150/- Road transportation charges will remain firm and fixed for complete duration of the Rate Contract. Local delivery within Municipal Limit or 30 Kms whichever is more will be free of cost. Road Transportation 6charges indicated above are inclusive of Temporary .tegistration charges , Transit insurance charges and Delivery Charges etc. 25. In case of any dispute, the matter will be referred to the sole arbitrator as appointed by DGS&D as per clause 24 of DGS&D 68 revised.
