Human Security Act

-To secure the state and protect its

people from terrorism
-Crimes of rebellion, coup d’ e tat and
piracy

Declaration of policy~take note that it

acknowledges terrorism as a crime
against the law of nation and
condemnation of acts or terrorism as
dangerous to national security.

The law gives an assurance that it will

not curtail and diminish
constitutionally recognized powers of
thee executive department.

This is our own contribution to the

fight of terrorism.

If you remember Anti-Hijacking Law

this was taken up in Piracy in Art 122.

The effect or purpose is to spread

widespread panic and extraordinary
fear among the populace with the
objective to coerce the government to
give in to an unlawful demand.

Penalty being 40 years without the

benefit of parole.

This one does not have a range but

expressly says it is 40 years.
