At the time of a worldwide crisis, it can be seen how countries across the globe deal with the pandemic;

from how the government imposes orders to contain the virus and how its citizens comply to such
orders. They way how Filipino families and individuals cope with the changes as well as how we try to
help the most affected in our respective ways, can be used to present the localization of a global
pandemic, thus the term, ‘Glocalization of Pandemic’. Since the first confirmed Covid-19 case was
declared, then the imposition of lockdowns in cities, criticisms on the government have circulated the
media. In various social media platforms, it became evident as to who among our government officials
have good and clear intentions, making us well informed, and later on guiding us on who to vote in the
near elections. In relation to this, I have spent my time in the quarantine period on making myself
informed on matters of the government. I have also started to re-evaluate my beliefs, priorities, and
decisions. Coping was made easier as I make sure that I keep myself grounded by spending time with the
Lord and praying for the most afflicted.
