be all sorts of athletic action going on! You plan on attending as
many events as possible!

2. The day pass lets you into the sports complex for 8 ¾ hours. If
there is a football game you want to catch that lasts about 3 2/4
hours, how much time will you have left to watch the other
sporting events?

3. At the concession stand you order a smoothie. The worker puts

strawberries, pineapple, raspberries, and cherries in your
smoothie. If he put ⅔ cup of each fruit into your smoothie, how
many cups of fruit are in your smoothie? Express your answer as
an improper fraction or a mixed number.

4. Upon entering the arena, you see that the Home side is 7/12 full.

occupied in the arena? What fraction of seats can still be filled?
