GENERAL RULES
1. The contest is open to all bona fide high school students, from Junior High
and Senior High, of any private or public school in Nueva Ecija.
2. A minimum of ten (10) to fifteen (15) participants shall perform during the
contest.
3. Dancers and singers are considered as performers.
4. The performance must consist of a song and dance presentation related to
this year’s theme of Midway Maritime Foundation Inc.’s foundation: Midway
@ 28: Keeping the torch of excellence and integrity aflame towards
positive change. Participants must actually sing and dance at the same
time. Any song in English or Filipino may be used or a combination thereof
may be utilized.
5. The presentation should last for a maximum of five minutes, in which period
shall be included the introduction and the exit of the performers. Beyond the
time limit, a total of five (5) points will be deducted from the group’s
total score.
6. Musical accompaniment for the presentation should compact disc or USB
generated only. No live accompaniment shall be allowed.
7. Props should be at the minimum only.
8. Only one group shall represent a school.

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING


Judging shall be based on the following criteria: 
a. Environmental Relevance/Message 30%
b. Voice Quality 20%
c. Precision of Dance Movements 20%
d. Originality/ Costume 20%
e. Projection and overall impact 10%
Total: 100%

Second Place – P4000
Third Place – P3000
Consolation Price – P1000 (x 7)
Budget (Materials, Expenses)

Token for the Judges – P1500.00 (P500/Judge)

Dancers’ Costume – P3500.00 (P200/Dancer)
