COMMUNION TO THE SICK & SHUT-INS – We express gratitude to those who share in this ministry. An effort
is made to greet these people at Christmas and Easter by the pastor. If you know someone who cannot be with
us and would appreciate the sacraments please call the parish office.

SURPRISE VISIT – Ken and Annette Meleskie made a surprise visit last Saturday to see and hear their gift
of their grand piano. An embarrassing moment as we could not use it due to a pen that had inadvertently
fallen into the keys. With much good fortune and the efforts of Kevin McSheffrey we were finally able
to afford Ken and Annette the opportunity to hear it played. Thanks again to Ken and Annette.

ON OUR WAY WITH JESUS: Last Saturday we celebrated the Sacrament of Reconciliation with our young
people and their parents who are on a year-long experience of coming to know God’s gift to us in the
sacraments. As we have come to know God’s love in this special way of forgiving us may you truly feel
much blessing as you move on to prepare for the table of Eucharist.

CHRISTMAS DÉCOR – Our thanks to our caretaker, John Laviolette for his Angel creations on the walls
of the church. John’s artistic talent is our gift at St. Francis and often goes unrecognized. Please feel free to
personally extend your appreciation to him for his efforts.
