PERSONAL PROFILE
Currently I am Quality and Clinical Engineer with fifteen years of experience working in the Medical Devices Industry.
Four years ago I adopted as a hobby the search for my ancestral's records to generate my family tree in "MyHeritage"
since I have Portuguese, Italian and Lebanese descent. My main research methods are "Tombo", "Antenati",
"MyHeritage", "FamilySearch", cemetery visits, contacting DNA matches, newspaper collections and Facebook.
Recently I visited Lebanon in 2019 searching for records and I will do the same in Portugal and Italy soon.

WORK EXPERIENCE
• I have more than 4 years doing genealogy research, conducting basic searches at various archives, libraries, online
and onsite as directed to solve problems;
• My family tree is public on My Heritage (Premium Plus Plan) and it have around 17.000 people and around 8.000
photos including birth, marriage and death records;
• All census, military enlistment, residence, newspaper article, birth, marriage and death records obtained are
attached to the respective person;
• Proficient in websites based tools including sites such as MyHeritage, Geni, Ancestry, FamilySearch, Cyndi’s List,
USGenWeb, Roots Web, Antenati, Bureau of Land Management, General Land Office (GLO) Records, Tombo,
National Archives and Administration, Internet Archive, others;
• Proficient to research onsite like cemeteries, churches, notary's office, prefectures, libraries, newspaper
headquarters, Immigration centres, others;
• To search for Italians, I initially start searching on Newspaper, MyHeritage, FamilySearch, Geni, Ancestry and Find
a Grave collections. To refine my research, I contact my correspondents and people with DNA match, contact
"comunes", I google the name and I use the Antenati, Facebook and LinkIn websites;
• To search for Portuguese, I initially start searching on Newspaper, MyHeritage, FamilySearch, Geni, Ancestry and
Find a Grave collections. To refine my research, I contact my correspondents and people with DNA match, contact
"freguesias", I google the name and I use the Tombo, Facebook and LinkIn websites;
• To search for Brazilians, I initially start searching on Newspaper, MyHeritage, FamilySearch, Geni, Ancestry and
Find a Grave collections. To refine my research, I contact my correspondents and people with DNA match, I visit
churches, cemeteries and notary's office, I google the name and I use the Facebook and LinkIn;
• To search for Lebanese, I initially start searching on Newspaper, MyHeritage, FamilySearch, Geni, Ancestry and
Find a Grave collections. To refine my research, I contact my correspondents and people with DNA match, I
contact I visit churches and cemeteries and I use the Facebook;
• I did a little bit researches of Spanish, Argentines and German people too;
• I built family trees for friends and spouses of relatives;
• 2 years studying churches books Pietrasanta (Tuscany, Italy) and Viareggio (Tuscany, Italy) to map families

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
• In September 2019 I travelled to Lebanon to meet my supposed relatives that the DNA match in MyHeritage test.
We visited churches and we talk to the Elders from Shweir, Marjayoun, Fradiss and Hasbaya.
