General Notes

1. This drawing is to be read in conjunction with all relevant

drawings and specifications.
2. All dimensions to be checked and confirmed on site.
3. All works may be subject to revision on site.
4. This drawing may not be copied without prior permission.
General Structural Notes:

1. All beams to have 100 bearing into party wall & 150mm into
internal walls
2. Beams to be placed as shown.
3. Beam to be preloaded by shimming steel plate wedges & dry
packing between steel beams & existing strucure prior to
release props. (Deflection of 6-8mm to be achieved on all
beams wiht preloading).
4. Steel to steel welding to be 6mm fillet weld full profile
unless noted otherwise.
5. Provide min 15mm dry packing btwn steel beam and walls.
6. All setting out dimensions to site and to architect drawings
7. New foundations pits to be inspected & approved by D.S.
prior to pouring concrete.
8. All existing joists span to be confirmed once opening works
carried out.
