Severe acute respiratory syndrome corona virus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is also known as

the corona virus and before known by the name 2019 novel corona virus (2019-nCoV). It

causes the respiratory illness and known as corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The World

Health Organization (WHO) has chosen the ongoing pandemic of COVID-19. The tension was

first revealed in Wuhan, China on Dec 19. Corona virus disease (COVID-19) is a transferable

disease. The disease causes respiratory illness (like the flu) with symptoms such as a cough,

fever, and in more severe cases, difficulty breathing. (Severe acute respiratory syndrome

HOW IT SPREADS: Corona virus disease spreads mainly with throughout make contact with

an infected person when they cough or sneeze. It also spreads when a person touches a surface or

objects that has the disease on it, and then touches their eyes, nose, or mouth. There’s currently

no vaccine to prevent corona virus disease (COVID-19).

You can protect yourself and help prevent spreading the virus to others if you:

Do’s: Wash your hands frequently for 10-20 seconds, with soap and water or alcohol-based hand

rub and sanitizers. Cover your nose and mouth with a non-refundable and disposable tissue when

you cough or sneeze. Keep away from close contact (1 meter or 3 feet) with people who are

unwell. Stay home and self-isolate from others in the household if you feel ill. Don't: Touch

your eyes, nose, or mouth if your hands are not clean. (Coronavirus disease (COVID-19)

There are 1,279,990 (approx) confirmed cases out of which 260,247 (approx) recovered and

69,444 (approx) deaths are reported Worldwide. Where as in Pakistan There are 3,277 (approx)

confirmed cases out of which 257 (approx) recovered and 50 (approx) deaths are reported.
