FIRST ALUMNI ACHIEVERS AWARD-

2015

          Raisoni Group of Institutions under “G H Raisoni Alumni Foundation” is

organized “Alumni Achievers Award-2015”. This special event was organized 28th Dec, 2015.
For paying tribute to alumni of Raisoni Group, who have displayed exceptional leadership
qualities and outstanding achievements in various fields of professional, social and
entrepreneurial endeavors.

          Alumni Achievers award was given under 5 categories-Achievers Award, Achievers
Service Award, Achievers Campus Award and Achievers Entrepreneur Award. 30 alumni’s
under these 5 categories were felicitated with different awards.

          Mr. Dinesh Hemdev, Manager Talent Acquisition Polaris, Mr. Ashish Poogalia, Manager
Applications Amazon and Mr. Pradeep Raut, HR Head of KEC International was the Jury
Member and guest for the program. Alumni across Raisoni Group attended the program with
excitement and appreciated the first initiative to the celebration of alumni’s achievement. Mr.
Nikhil Bahl, General Manager- Product Management at Philips Lighting,   Mr. Varun Bajaj,
Executive Director, Luk Plasticon Ltd, and Adv Mrs. Reena Singh Legal Advisor were the 3 big
award winners.

          Dr. O.S Bihade, E.D Raisoni group, Dr. K.K Dhote, E.D Raisoni Group, Dr. Preeti Bajaj,
Director G.H Raisoni College of Engineering with all the principals & Directors of Raisoni
Group of Institutions was present on the occasion.

Alumni Meet at G H Raisoni Academy of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur

G H Raisoni Academy of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur organized its first Alumni Meet- ‘Yaadein-
15’ at Hotel Centre Point, Ramdaspeth, Nagpur. It was a time and event for old relationships to be
cherished, celebrated and refreshed and new ones to be formed.

The program started with light games followed by Principal’s address. Principal Dr. Satish Vaishnav
informed the students about various activities being conducted at college for its up gradation. He
informed that the college is applying for NAAC accreditation in the month of June.

The alumni were overwhelmed with this reunion. During the interactive session they informed about
their current positions. Alumni from the batch of 2010 graced the occasion. They shared their old
memories and got quite nostalgic.

On this occasion Dr. Satish Vaishnav, Principal; Prof. Prashant Awachat, Vice-Principal; Dr. Sanjay
Haridas, HOD E&C; Prof. Siraj Sheikh, HOD Mech; Prof. Sonali Bodkhe, HOD CSE; Prof. Anshul Nikhade,
HOD Civil; Dr. Himani Pandhurnekar, FY HOD and faculties were present. The event was coordinated by
Prof. Pragati Kene and Prof. Gita Bhaskar.
