What makes a holiday special is not where you go but who you spend with.

A holiday is defined as a period when someone doesn’t go to work or school.

It’s not unusual to see persons searching discounts in travel agencies, looking for round trips,
checking addresses and valuable monuments in the case of touristic cities, seeking restaurants,
etc.

Knowing that an interesting location is going to be visited cause people to get more excited, but
are places really important only because of luxuries and sightseeing?

An individual can go to the fanciest spots, and even with those circumstances get bored due to the
lack of company. Being abroad under solitary conditions will eventually become stressful,
particularly when there’s the concern of the possibility of hanging out with family, friends, or
meeting new partners.

Making a journey with relatives increases recreational satisfaction and reinforces affective bonds
with the loved ones. It also allows having more fun, for example through assisting to a museum
together, talking to a foreigner, tasting different food all along, etc.

So, the main idea is not only the importance of spending time with significant acquaintances, but
also the prominence of how you use that time with others.
