Philosophy of Education
Seeking a position as an elementary teacher to use my various life experiences, exceptional
education, and passion for teaching, to help elementary students reach their full potential in a
student-centered, interactive classroom.

• Assuming all teaching responsibilities including; planning lessons and units, modeling
and upholding behavioral expectations, collaborating with resource and grade level
teachers, instructing whole group and small group, and assessing student achievement
and collecting data to drive instruction.
• Creating and utilizing grade level resources for specific SOL’s and content. To include:
Promethean Board, Schoology, Chromebooks, and other technology driven devices and
websites.
• Planning differentiated and scaffolded lesson plans and assignments for an inclusion
classroom with gifted and special education students.
