NOTICE
Date: 24.11.2019
This is to inform all LSCs that all students concerned appearing for M.A. Part II
Examination (2019) in Environmental Studies from Directorate of Distance
Education, Rabindra Bharati University, need to submit an Internal Assignment
(IA) for Paper X [Dissertation] as well. This IA shall be a synopsis of their
dissertation study (maximum 10 pages).
The IA will contain:
i. The top sheet [to be downloaded from the website of Directorate of Distance
Education, Rabindra Bharati University];
ii. Photocopy of the candidate I-card [ both side on 1 page]; and
iii. A synopsis of his/her dissertation report within a maximum of 10 pages
(synopsis should contain an introduction of the topic, brief description of the
work done and a conclusion).
The IA to be submitted shall be stitched. IAs submitted in channel folders/ spiral
bindings will not be accepted. Students are requested to retain a copy of their IAs with
themselves as well.
Both the Dissertation report and the IA must be submitted to the respective
study centres within 14.12.2019.
All students pursuing M.A in Environmental Studies [Part II] are supposed to
note that they will not be issued an admit card for their upcoming Part II final
examinations on failing to submit their IAs for Paper X.

Submission of IA is not applicable for the students admitted before session

2017-18.
