H. White #7682 and | am a peace officer of the City of Dallas, Dallas County, ‘Texas. I, the affiant, have good reason and do believe that on or about the 19th day of February, 2020, one David Deshawn ‘McKinney did then and there in the City of Dallas, Dallas County, Texas commit the offense of Capital Murder, a violation of Section 19.03 of the Texas Penal Code, a C/F. ‘Affiant’s belief is based upon the following facts and information which A fiant received from: DY Affiant’s personal investigation of this alleged offense oO , a fellow peace officer of the City of Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, who personally participated in the investigation of this alleged offense, providing this information to Affiant, and whose information Affiant believes to be credible On February 19, 2020 at approximately 10:40 P.M., Suspect David Deshawn McKinney B/M IEEE cormmitted the offense of Capital Murder at 12610 Jupiter Road #615 located in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas. Suspect McKinney committed the offense by shooting the complainant causing his death and in the process Suspect McKinney took property from the complainant. The complainant in this offense is Hosia Abdallah aw ‘On February 19, 2020 at approximately 10:50 P.M., Dallas Police patrol officers responded to a shooting call at 12610 Jupiter Road #615. Upon arrival, the patrol officers located the complainant Abdallah deceased in the kitchen area of his apartment. ‘Complainant Abdallah’s roommate, Vin informed officers that he was inside the apartment at the time of the shooting. Witness [was interviewed and he stated he was in his bedroom when he heard Complainant Abdallah speaking with a female. Witness IIE stated he then heard gunshots, at which time he jumped out of his bedroom window and ran to his vehicle. Witness stated he drove to the front of the apartment complex and called a friend. Witness IIE stated while he was patked near the entrance gate to the apartment complex, he observed a blue or gray colored Jeep Wrangler exit the apartment complex. Detective J. H. White #7682, obtained cell phone records for Complainant Abdallah which showed his cell phone registering off of cell phone towers near the intersection of Wynn Joyce Drive and Broadway Boulevard in Garland, Texas shortly after Complainant Abdallah’s murder. Complainant Abdallah’s cell phone then registered off of cell phone towers near Eastern Hills Park in Garland, Texas at approximately 10:56 P.M. wich was shortly after Complainant Abdallah’s murder. Complainant Abdallah’s phone last registered off of a cell tower approximately 430 yards ‘crn IEG la ‘Texas, is a known address for Suspect McKinney. Detective White and Detective B. Tabor #7687, searched for video in the area of Wynn Joyce Drive and Broadway Boulevard and were able to obiain video which show a gray colored Jeep Wrangler travelling eastbound on La Prada Drive and pass through the intersection of Wynn Joyce Drive and Broadway Boulevard several minutes after the murder. Detective White conducted research and discovered that Suspect McKinney's wit a has a Jeep Wrangler registered in her name. Detective B. King #9488, is also conducting an unrelated murder investigation and Suspect McKinney is a suspect in that case. ‘Through the course of her investigation, Detective King located and photographed the gray Jeep Wrangler that is registered to Surpeet MoKimey’s if, ll Detective White received multiple anonymous tips that the people responsible for the death of Complainant Abdallah were Synthia Franklin and David McKinney. The anonymous witnesses stated that Synthia Franklin set Complainant Abdallah up to be robbed by David McKinnoy. The anonymous witnesses informed Detective White that Syathia Franklin had two Facebook ‘The anonymous witnesses also informed Detective White that David MeKinney had a Facebook account under the narne Detective White searched for the accounts of Synthia Franklin and they appear to belong to the same person. Detective White obtained Facebook records for Complainant Abdallah. A search of the records showed Complainant Abdallah to be friends with Complainant Abdallah’s Facebook records also showed that Complainant Abdallah had searched fo ‘While analyzing Suspect McKinney's phone records, Detective Tabor locaied multiple text messages between Suspect McKinney's phone and a phone number believed to belong,F2075676 [STATE OF TEXAS AFFIDAVIT FOR ARREST WARRANT | COUNTYOF DALLAS | to Synthia Franklin shortly before Complainant Abdallah was killed, which corroborates the witnesses statements. Detective Tabor had obtained a phone number for Suspect McKinney in an unrelated investigation: EEE Detective White obtained a phone number for Suspect McKinney from a witness whose name is being withheld at this time for their safety. The phone number provided by the unnamed witness matches the phone number that Detective Tabor has for Suspect McKinney. Detective White obtained cell phone records for Suspect McKinney. Detective Tabor was able to examine Suspect ‘McKinney’s cell phone records which show Suspect McKinney’s cell phone registering off of towers near Complainant Abdallah’s apartment around the time Complainant Abdallah was killed. Detective Tabor was able to examine both ‘Complainant Abdallah’ cell phone records and Suspect McKinney’s cell phone records and both phones mirror each other’s path after the murder to an area near where Suspect McKinney lives. Both Complainant Abdalleh’s phone and Suspect McKinney's phone show to be near the intersection of Wynn Joyce Drive and Broadway Boulevard at approximately 10:54 PM.
