6 Tips for experiencing a better workout:

Listen to your favorite music artists - Listening to music will help motivate you while
you exercise.

Get plenty of sleep the night before - Eight hours of sleep will keep the body going
throughout the day. If you decide to take a nap in the middle of the day, you should only
nap for about 30 minutes. This will prevent you from staying up later in the night.

Eat Right - Be sure that all the meals you eat before your workout, include slow-
digesting carbs such as oatmeal, sweet potatoes, fruit, buckwheat, or whole-wheat
bread. Vegetables like salad are excellent to eat as well. This will give you more
endurance and energy throughout your work out. Avoid eating fast food like
McDonald’s, KFC, Taco Bell, or any other fast food before you exercise. Also avoid
exercising immediately after you eat, so you have time for your food to digest. Too-large
servings or hard-to-digest foods (like fast food or burgers) can make you feel sluggish or
even nauseous.

Exercise Daily - Exercise daily for at least 1 hour. You do not have to go overboard
with your running, jogging, etc., but you should have some sort of physical activity in
your everyday life. Make sure you're not in severe pain during your workout. Just a
warning, your muscles will ache after a high intensity workout. It may be irritating, but
that means your body is changing for the better.

Drink plenty of water - Water will keep you hydrated, so you can perform at your best.

Exercise with a family member - Finding a workout partner can help keep you on
track and motivate you to exercise more.
