​Student Population  

​Over the last five years, West Millbrook Magnet Middle School has experienced some
fluctuation in student population. In 2015-16, 928 students were enrolled. However, by the
end of the following year, enrollment decreased by a little less than 100 students. In the
2017-18 school year, student enrollment began to increase and continues to increase as
more students and families are attracted to our school, due to our IB Magnet Program.
Currently, 937 students are enrolled at West Millbrook.

WMMMS has a very diverse student population. Approximately 60% of all students are
students of color. Black and Hispanic students make up 54% of the school’s total
population. White students make up the largest single subgroup. Almost 50% of the
student population is classified as economically-disadvantaged. During the 18-19 school
year, almost 430 students received free or reduced breakfast and lunch.
