Investor Newsletter

• Use MS Word or MS Publisher


• 2-3 pages maximum

Pretend that you are the Investor Relations Assistant at your chosen company.
Your task is to create a newsletter for current shareholders, potential
investors, customers, suppliers, etc. The newsletter will be for informational
purposes to give the reader news and updates on the company and its fiscal
performance. The requirements are as follows:

Requirements
• Company Overview/Description (all categories required)
o 1-2 Paragraphs describing the company, the goods/services sold, &
history
o List Founders
o List Executive Officer Names & Title (CEO & at least 3 other leaders
that are important to company operations)
o How the company became so popular

• Company Information (minimum 3 facts)


o Address
o Phone number and Fax number
o Website
o Customer Service or separate business department contacts

• Company Profile (minimum 5 facts)


o General description of the industry or industries in which the company
is involved
o Number of employees
o Target customers
o Number of subsidiaries
o Number of stores
o Number of franchises OVER
o Board of Directors
o Global presence

• Company Performance (minimum 3 facts)


o How your company is performing in the sector
o Economic info such as sales, profits, and revenue for the quarter
o Information related to the company's various business segments
o Other pertinent info

• General analysis of the company’s financial condition (minimum 5 facts)


o Definition of stock
o Stock symbol
o Information about stock’s performance for the quarter
o Definition of P/E ratio
o Company’s P/E ratio
o Definition of dividends
o When company pays out dividends and amount for quarter
o Stock splits
o Estimated growth & in what areas that may impact stock performance.

• Picture/Image representing the company & the market sector (minimum 4).

• Date, Volume number, & Issue number.

• Sign newsletter (example: John Doe, Investor Relations Assistant, GE).

• Be creative but professional! Use at least 4 different colors. Check grammar


& spelling. Proofread & make all edits before sending it for final print.
