I. TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT GUIDELINES OF SODA-LICIOUS

Soda-licious will implement and maintain a quality system management and improve its
effectiveness in accordance with the requirements of quality standards. The following
procedures is the overview of Total Quality Management Philosophy;

 Maintain a customer focus

Soda-licious will implement a procedure for measurement and analysis of customer


satisfaction data against established customer requirements and expectations and take
actions to ensure they improvement.

Soda-licious will get aligned with the target markets’ wants and needs.

Soda-licious will provide value-added services to establish a direct relation with customers.

 Continuous Improvement

Soda-licious will continually improve the effectiveness of its quality management system
using the business plan, quality statement, objectives and metrics, audit result, analysis of
data, corrective and preventive actions and management review.

 Employee Empowerment

Soda-licious will empower employees to gives the employee ownership of their job through
the process that they are responsible for the product we are providing. This empowerment
builds confidence through showing them that the companies have faith in their ability to be
a decision maker and a leader.

 Understanding Quality Tools

Soda-licious employees will have proper training to understand the quality tools such as
histogram, pareto chart, check sheet, control charts flow chart and scatter diagram. Each
employee will have proper documents and skill requirements for each position and
competency levels necessary for each employee to perform their job safely and effectively.
 Team Approach

Soda-licious will act as a whole team in order for us to fulfill the quality for the product,
members cannot operate in isolation. Each team members must know and appreciate every
other team member’s strength and skills. Each team member must also be willing to switch
roles when the need arises and remained focused on the success of the project.

 Benchmarking

Soda-licious will evaluate the following various aspects of the process in relation to best
practice for us to develop plans on how to make improvements or adopt best practice,
usually with the aim of increasing some aspect of performance;

1. Process Benchmarking

Soda-licious will focus its observation and investigation of business process with a goal
of identifying and observing the best practices from one or more benchmark firms.

2. Financial Benchmarking

Soda-licious will perform financial analysis and comparing the results in an effort to
asses overall competitiveness

3. Performance Benchmarking

Soda-licious will asses competitiveness position by comparing products and services


with those of target firms.

4. Product Benchmarking

Soda-licious will follow the process of reverse engineering wherein we will design new
product or upgrade to current ones for us to take apart from competitors products to
find strengths and weaknesses.

5. Strategic Benchmarking

Soda-licious will observe how others compete.


6. Functional Benchmarking

Soda-licious will focus benchmarking on a single function in order to improve the


operation. Complex function such as Human Resources, Finance and Accounting and
Information and Communication Technology are unlikely to be directly comparable in
cost and efficiency terms and may need to be disaggregated into process to make valid
comparison.

 Manage Supplier Quality


Soda-licious will keep quality issues in check when dealing with suppliers. The following
practices will be observe to strengthen supplier quality management program;
1. Measure and track the cost of poor supplier quality.
2. Align supplier risk management with quality audits.
3. Rationalize suppliers for better quality control.
4. Standardize supplier quality and performance metrics.
5. Enabling collaborative approach to corrective action.
6. Gain better visibility into supplier quality with technology.
