Meaning

I think deep down it means that when a hero is in your life, you just let go of everything and

forget all about your fears because you feel safe. Its saying that you don't have to depend on a

hero to keep you safe and that you can protect yourself. Then when you finally realize that you

can't depend on heroes anymore or that your tired of having to depend on a hero, you just have

to be strong or be prepared for whatever comes and to keep you and your family safe. I believe

that she is saying that while you were depending on someone else to be your hero and watch

over you, you could have done that yourself because deep down in you, there's a hero.
Reasons

The song that I have chosen is Hero by Mariah Carey. Most of the songs
by Mariah Carey have a deeper meaning so it was just a matter of what
song to choose. I like this song because it has a nice rhythm and that the
music video is not so bad. I chose Hero because listening to the song is
relaxing. The fact that I listen to a variety of music it was hard to choose a
song but I do enjoy this song and the meaning to me is worthwhile.
I do like Mariah Carey but not meaning I am a fan girl or I would die to
meet them but that would differ from my sister and I. The songs by
Mariah Carey are very enlightening, so I do enjoy other songs by the
band.
